Biometrics

Biometrics is one of the sub-domains of Cyber Security that primarily deals with the user authentication for the security of data. One or more different types of biometric authentications such as Facial, IRIS, Hand, Palm, Fingerprint recognition and even more sophisticated ones are put into operation to collect biological metrics of a person in order to authenticate him/her for legitimacy and allowing authorized access to secured data, infrastructure, network resources, etc. Since biological parameters of every human being are unique, it is considered to be a strong security measure.
